West Virginia in the Fall

Shoot Someplace New !!

West Virginia is surprising to most as it is an often forgotten location in the Eastern US. It is filled with countless waterfalls and scenes that are found nowhere else in the country.  If you are looking for a workshop where you will return home with new skills and images your fellow photographers probably have never seen before, this is the place for you.

Don and I have spent a great deal of time and effort to ensure our participants will see the best West Virginia has to offer and have chosen the fall of the year to best showcase the state’s amazing beauty. In addition to the more grand shooting locations, we have located a number of outstanding  settings to enhance your composition skills even in the middle of the day.

In order to avoid the weekend leaf looking crowds, we will begin our adventure on Sunday evening for a sunset shoot.  Each day will include a sunrise and a sunset shoot with various locations throughout the day.   If weather permits, we will try to work in a night photography session as well. We will wrap things up with some morning shooting  and conversation on Wednesday

We keep our groups small in order to provided as much individual instruction as desired.  As time and weather allows, we can share images and discuss editing techniques.  It is our goal for you to not only depart with superb images, but to return home a better photographer.
